Help--pre-cruise nightmares

I usually have a few nightmares before a vacation, but this trip, it's the worst yet. The closer our cruise gets, the worse (and more frequent) the dreams become. We miss our plane. I lose our documents. I lose my wallet and ID. On and on. My DH says this is particularly funny, because I am always so organized with our trip-planning. But it doesn't seem funny when I wake up every morning panicking over some cruise-related nightmare! This morning's convoluted "episode" involved the first of our two connecting flights being diverted to another city and then being stuck on the runway without clearance to release the passengers. Argh--am I the only one who experiences this pre-cruise craziness?

You are not alone. I had recurring nightmares about my then 3 year old gong overboard, and getting to the airport 1 1/2 hours away without tickets or documentation.

I've had 2 cruise nightmares. The first one, we were in our cabin after doing everything the first day and I look at my watch and it's 10 o'clock, we hand't eaten, nor had we made Palo reservations, we also missed the show. Haha

The next dream was we realized our first night on the trip that we never made excursion plans for Nassau. We are wanting to do the dolphin encounter. Of course, they were booked.

Glad I'm not the only one dreaming.

i have had a couple nightmares too...in my dream i seem to "wake up" realizing i am already on the cruise and that it is almost over and i have missed everything! That would be a nightmare if that really happened!!!

Last night's dream was about somehow getting on board without checking in, having no cabin or KTTW card. Last week had one about leaving all luggage at home, trying to leave the ship to go get it, and the ship starting to pull away from the dock. Before that it was trying to find my cabin and always being on the wrong deck.

We've got to get on board just to get a good night's sleep!!

Oh yeah, I've also had that one!

And kplatt, I totally agree with your comment "We've got to get on board just to get a good night's sleep!!"

I had my first one last night, I had to find the right combination to this puzzle to be able to get on the ship, my kids were already on board and I couldn't get the puzzle solved the ship pulled away I'm standing on the dock and my kids are on the ship  . Please tell me this is not going to get worse I'll be a wreck by the time Sept 10 rolls around. :scared:

I have. Now they are showing Season 2 with Tara and Wil, Blake and Paige and Oswald and Danny. Does anyone remember who wins.

TIA

Where are you seeing season 2? :confused3

I have them too. They usually have something to do with us not being able to find our room, the restaurants or anything else for the whole trip. I had one dream where we found our room right away and were surprised to see we had been upgraded to the Walt Suite. I ran out to tell the rest of my family the great news and then I could never find the Suite again! :confused3

I literally had a nightmare 13 years ago when we cruised for our first time. I woke up in a sweat. I dreamed I was walking on water and sharks we after me. :rotfl2: Anyway, what really wound up happening is this...I found out the week before cruising I was expecting our first child. Morning Sickness had me deciding to have a pregnancy test done on me. Very surprised when it came back positive. Yes we were trying, but never thought it would happen in 2 weeks! Next Hurricane Andrew hit Homestead, Florida. We literally were the last bus to make it to port for our cruise. We had to go the itinerary backwards and there isalnd was destroyed, so we did not dock there.

Now fictionally nightmares are I will forget our ID's, docs and/or BC's. I have not had it happen yet....but it still terrifies me.
