It doesn't have to be CBR, but we've already stayed at POR. The other mod I would consider staying at is CSR. We haven't stayed at either CBR or POP....
Thanks!
My kids are almost 13, 11 and 9 and we're going in July. We will spend our late morning/early afternoon at the pool and go to the parks in the evening.
I would choose the moderate resort, even though I love Pop!
My first choice would be Coronado Springs Resort, though. We have the best time there.
You do not need to spring for a preferred room here (although I would recommend one at Carribean Beach Resort because of the walking). At Coronado Springs, choose a standard room and ask to be as close to the main pool as possible. Those are standard rooms. CSR has one of the most gorgeous pools I have ever visited. We loved it.
The jaguar slide is awesome! It is fast and furious, and my daughter (age 8) and I have had some of the best laughs coming off that slide!
We love the Pepper Market and the Maya Grill (best eggs benedict on property). We like sitting at the outdoor bar near the marina and soaking in the atmosphere and having a snack. The grounds are lovely with the lake and fountains everywhere. The rooms are so sleek and modern, and the queen size beds with duvet covers feel luxurious.
If you get a room near the pool, you can refill your mugs there. They have a little snack bar that serves some darn good hamburgers and fries and nachos. There's a great game room by the pool, volleyball net, ping pong, gosh! The whole area just rocks. We love CSR.
