Help Plz - What times have RSR FP been running out lately?

Update: Now tracking RSR 'FP gone by hh:mm' - I've just realised that I can use the Lines App to track, so will try to update each day. First time is park opening, 2nd is when FP were gone (approx)

I'm seeking help from those who've been to DCA in the last month or two, or are heading that way in the near future.

At what time did RSR run out of FP when you were there? If you can answer, I'd appreciate a response with the day of the week, and approx time the Fps ran out. I'm especially interested to see if there's any pattern depending on what day of the week it is.

I'm trying to decide if the only way we can ride RSR in December is to be in the FP line at park opening, or if it's possible to do an hour or two in DL, and then head over to DCA and get FP for RSR. The return time doesn't concern me - we're gonna have to do a big afternoon nap to help us adjust to the time zone change, so should be fine for late nights in the park, about 6-8 hours sleep, then back to the parks for opening the next morning.

I'll keep updating this initial post with times in case others are also interested.

Thanks everyone :thumbsup2

Great idea!!! Thanks for doing this! It will help with our trip in December!

Real rookie question, but can I assume that we can still get fast passes for all other rides even if our return time is say, 6:00 pm?

Yes, 2 hours after you get your RSR Fastpass (or the start time of the Fastpass, whichever comes FIRST), your window reopens and you can get another Fastpass. You can also get a World of Color Fastpass at any time you like, even if it's immediately after you get your RSR Fastpass (no waiting required). I believe California Screamin' is still disconnected so you can try getting a Fastpass for that even before your 2-hour window is up.

The good thing is, from what I can see FP's seem to be running out within 2 hours of the park opening, which means my idea of doing some of the Fantasyland slow loaders and grabbing a FP in DL before heading over to DCA just before park opening to join the RSR FP que may well work, (on the days DCA opens after DL). I'll keep tracking times FPs run out in the meantime - every bit of info helps. I just hope the Lines App is accurate for what time RSR FP's are all gone.

This is exactly what we are going to try to do in 9 days! :cool1:
Although I'm crossing my fingers, I'm not holding my breath. Predicted crowds are high, nonetheless, we'll see what happens.

I was trying to figure out why all the FP's were going earlier mid-weeek when the days are meant to be less crowded... I think it's because the park closes a LOT earlier these days - any other theories??? It'll be interesting to see if this is 'the norm', and if it really is easier to get a FP on the weekend.

Please let us know how it goes. Hopefully by sharing our RSR 'trials and tribulations', we can pass the info forward and make it better for fellow DISers, or at least let each other know what does (and probably more importantly) does not work.

I think it's been said they give out fewer FP on days when the hours are shorter, and there are probably just as many people trying to get the FP in the morning hours.
