Ok I know these boards are helping with the planning but they are also driving me a little batty:eek:

First trip wife and two little ones 3 & 5. We need to book ADRs because we will be there during free dining but my question is should we just stick to a few Character dinings or try to do most of them. We are there 8 nights. Can you give me your recommendations for best restaurants for TS.

Thanks in advance!:worship:

Don't worry, picking Disney restaurants can be a daunting task for even the biggest Disney geeks. DH & I just spent 2 days planning out our Sept trip.

We try to balance big meals with more modest ones. DS loves character meals, so yes we try to do as many as we can because when he happy we are happy. Still you can get over load so don't do one every day.

Here are some of our favorite kid-friendly places:

MK:
- Crystal Palace. Good food. Great characters.
- Cinderella's Royal Table. Who wouldn't want to be a prince/princess and eat in a castle.

Epcot:
- Coral Reef. Great food, amazing fish, and unique experience.
- Biergarten. Fun place, good food, and kids dancing.
- Garden Grill. Characters. Still on our to-do list.

HS:
- Hollywood and Vine. Good characters, unique interaction, and good food.
- Sci Fi. Old time movies, special experience, and decent American fair.
- Prime Time. Fun location and fun food.

AK:
- Tusker House. Breakfast characters, lunch and dinner good food.
- Rainforest. Fun for kids of all ages.

Resorts:
- 'Ohana, Polynesian. Great food, fun, celebration, and even better value. One of our favorites and must do locaitons.
- Whispering Canyon, Wilderness Lodge. FUN! FUN! FUN! Another favorite.
- 1900 Park Fair, Grand Floridian. Characters and buffet.
- Cape May Cafe, Yacht and Beach Club. Breakfast has great characters and very good food. Enjoy! Dinner is a traditional clam feast. Good solid choice.
- Rainforest, DD. Same as AK only better view.

No matter what you choose, you will have many happy memories.

Cheers!

The previous poster had excellent restuarant suggestions. I just wanted to add my .02 we planned most of our meals to be character meals. This way we can see the characters in a nice cool restuarant and not have to wait in long hot lines to see them in the parks.

Our kids are roughly the same age as yours. We highly enjoy the character breakfasts too. That way the kids can meet the characters is a bit more of a relaxed setting (as opposed to in a long line in the hot sun). Also with the buffet the kids can eat at their own pace. We like having 2 sit down TS meals a day as with the kids it provides an air-conditioned break during the day.
