well i tried the dawn and it worked a little better that everything else had but not completely out yet.
thanks vickiv- my dh is a heavy machine mechanic. i know exactly what Gojo is. he has it all over his garage. (you notice i say *his* garage!!!) i will try that today. DUH! never even thought of that. but you're right, it has a terrible smell. thanks again.
i'll let ya know how that works! i am determined to get it out!

ERA will work on some grease stains. I use powdered dishwasher detergent when I get grass stains and mud out of football and baseball pants, etc.

Also, have you tried cheap hairspray, that will take out a lot. Has to be the cheap, dollar or less kind.
