Help please with Epcot day!!

So Im having a hard time planning our full epcot day. I hate the Fast pass tiering because it makes it really hard. All I know is that we will go straight to Soarin right at 9am then we will go straight back to Baymax and inside out characters then from there I don't know what to do. We have two small kids 7 and 4 when we go in September after labor day (so lower crowds) This is what all we will want to do on this day.

Fast pass - Test Track
Fast pass - Nemo, Turtle talk or Character spot (though we will see those already)
The seas
Figment
Living with the land
Maybe some innoventions
Then we will walk around World showcase from lunch time on and until dinner time where were eating at Teppan in Japan.

We are not worried about doing Mission Space unless my husband wants to and were not worried about seeing Ellen. I just don't know what the best way is to work around those things in the morning. Theres just nothing worth fast passing but you have to. Let me add we will be in Epcot the afternoon prior once we arrive to Orlando and I plan on fast passing spaceship earth, the frozen ride (assuming its tier 1) and Figment.

Are you wanting to do Figment twice? I would probably do something like this

Char Spot FP+
Figment
Land

Crush FP+
Seas
Innoventions
TT FP+

Yes to figment twice just bc my kids like it we don't have to do it the full day. What time would you do those FPs for? I'm hoping to be in world showcase by 1ish for lunch.

Since you have priorities for RD, that is understandable. I'd stick to one area & get everything done in that immediate area before moving on to the next if you can help it to more efficiently tour the park. That would mean to stick around in The Land Pavilion after doing Soarin to do Living With the Land before going to see the characters in Innoventions. But I also don't have experience with characters since I usually stick to attractions & shows in the parks. If it's really necessary to go straight from Soarin to the characters then stick to that.

From there, I would go to The Seas Pavilion to do Nemo & Turtle Talk (definitely no FP needed for these IMO). From the Seas Pavilion, head back to do Living With The Land with your FP. Then go on Figment & head back through the Innoventions to do what you want in there working your way from the west to the east part. After Innoventions east, go to TT & Mission Space if you want. From there, take the side pathway to head into Mexico & go through the WS.

I am not exactly how the waits get with Baymax and Inside out characters but I'd think they would be popular since they are newer and different so Im thinking I need to go to them as early as possible which would be right after soarin its not to far of a walk from there and then back over to that area.

You might like Mission Space as there is a tame and a rougher version- orange and green. The building looks so cool that you just have to go inside and check it out.
Last few times we've been at epcot we have skipped ellens energy ride as it is a LONG one. If you've never seen it, its worth a visit though IMO.

My daughter and husband went on it last time and she was just about 6 and didn't like it enough to ride it again with me. Ive never rode it so I have no idea. Im thinking its not something my 4 year old would like but I don't know.

Just saw the height never mind my son wouldn't even be close to riding it ha. I am really hoping he's at least 40'' when we go but maybe we could try it again with my daughter.

No Spaceship earth? My kids loved it. Also my kids liked the play area at the end of Mission space (you don't need to go on the ride).

We will be doing Space ship earth the night before. We will arrive around 3 and do that with FP, FP Figment and then the Frozen ride.
