Help Please - When did Virgin announce free dining for 2011?

Can anyone remember when virgin holidays started free dining for 2011 please? I am hoping to book again for free dining for 2012 - dh has just converted the last of our tesco deals and we will only have 6 months to book, which will take us to the end of April. We booked for free dining for Aug 2010 and booked on 6 may 2009 so just worried we will miss it. Thanks xx

Between CO (I think they were first this year), Disney UK and VH, free dining was offered starting late April through into early May. There is no telling what the agents are going to do from one year to the next though.

We booked ours on the 2nd June so it was definately before then...as I went to book it mid-May originally

thanks for the replies so far - fingers crossed they will do the deal again and we will be able to book before our vouchers expire. I booked on 6th May 09 and think that free dining must have been on there a few days before this. We *loved* free DDP and really hope we can get it again

I booked at the very end of April 09 for this year's trip and got Free Dining.

You need to bear in mind, that after 05/12/10, you can only use 500.00 per person in VH deals vouchers and not the current 700.00 per person, as the terms and conditions are changing.

I have sought advise from my friends on PTS and they have said to book a holiday for Easter 2012 when the brochure comes out at the end of Nov, then, once the new brochure is out in April and hopefully it will have the free dining in, phone VH and change the holiday to August 2012. Usually if you add value to your booking, then there is no amendment fee. Fingers crossed it will work. I'm not going to add park tickets to my first booking or any extra's. I'll add them if I manage to bag the free dining when I change the holiday. Hope this helps.
