Help please: transferring res to TA for bigger discount?

HOw do you all do this? I have requested a quote from DU and told them that I would be transferring my ressies but it was MORE than what I paid! LOL THen I contacted my previous TA who said, yes they can get a better price but couldn not tell me how much. Does that seem strange to you all? How do you experts pick the TA with the best reputaion and deal? Also I was thinkg of AllSeas but their listed prices are also more.

It is possible that if you submitted for a new quote that the pricing is higher than you have booked--that is because the pricing is based on a tiered system. As the ship fills up the pricing goes into the next tier.

If you transfer your reservation over to DU your current pricing won't change--and you also get the benefit of the rebate.

Transferring a reservation and booking a new reservation are two different things.
