My family (a party of 5 adults) is going to Disney in September with my Aunt and Uncle. We are staying at the Boardwalk on rented DVC points and they are staying at Boardwalk as DVC members.

Apparently DVC had a recent ticket promotion going where you buy X number of days and get X number free. It saved each of us something like $15 so we decided to get them through my Aunt and Uncle. Unfortunately we didn't know that a) they would be purchasing all of the tickets on one transaction and b) tickets would have to be picked up at will-call. Soooo...

How do I link tickets that I don't have (won't have them until arrival), whose confirmation number is already linked to my Aunt and Uncle's reservation and Disney Experience Account ---- to my own account? I'm worried about not being able to make FP+ reservations at the 60 day mark because right now, our reservation still reads as a room-only, even though we have technically purchased tickets.

Help me, please! If I would have known we wouldn't have tickets in hand when we purchased them, I would have just passed on the small discount and bought them myself.

I believe they should have numbers that allow them to be linked before arrival. Have you asked them about that? Or perhaps they add the order to their MDE, then everyone link their MDE profiles to theirs and tickets can be assigned that way?

There are threads on the dvc forums here about it. I could be wrong. Those threads will tell you.

1. How do I link tickets that I don't have (won't have them until arrival), whose confirmation number is already linked to my Aunt and Uncle's reservation and Disney Experience Account ---- to my own account?
2. I'm worried about not being able to make FP+ reservations at the 60 day mark because right now, our reservation still reads as a room-only, even though we have technically purchased tickets.

bumbershoot (above) is correct.

Restated:

1. If they purchased the tickets via their MDE account, all tickets are already linked there.
Link your MDE accounts together and they can transfer your tickets to each of you.
If they don't yet have the tickets listed in their MDE account, they can link them inputting the order confirmation number(s.)

2. Do the above and you'll be fine.

Your reservation is still a room only reservation because the tickets were purchase separately.

Your Aunt & Uncle should be able to link the tickets to your individual MDE accounts as long as your are all linked as Friends & Family.

Or, you could have them provide you the ticket barcode & try to link them yourself. But I think the first option is the best.
