Last September, we were planning on going to WDW when my DS was 3 and DD was 2. So, I ordered two adult APs and one child AP since DD was 2. We are now leaving in 17 days :teeth: and I was planning on picking up another AP for DD when we got there, but now I am confused. Is it cheaper to order it online and have a will-call pickup or to buy it at WDW? Can I just buy the pass at the gate that day, from whichever park we choose to go to first?...I am now worried that if I order online it will not get here in time and I am not sure how it works at the park. The last time I ordered APs for Disneyland, I picked up the voucher when we checked in.

Also, even though DD is small and only 3 1/2 years old I do want to purchase a ticket...just for me, I want to do the right thing, not worry if they will ask at the gate and I don't want to lie in front of my children, again, this is just me. I would appreciate any advice on purchasing the child AP, thanks.

You are only offered a discount if you are re-newing your pass online. Other than that its the same price over the internet as it is at the front gate. So I would just wait till you get there and purchase it at Guest Services when you arrive.

Thank you so much for the information.

Since I see under your name that you are from the land of Mahallo and 'Ohana, I deduce that you must be flying into MCO (unless you have some sort of amphibious car - which would be very cool, please post pics!)

The Disney EarPort stores at MCO can sell you new, fully-activated APs. They cannot activate vouchers, however, so if your other APs are not yet activated, then you should do it all at once at either a ticket window or Guest Relations at one of the theme parks. But if your other APs are already activated, and you just need to pick up a new one for DD, you can do it at the airport and avoid the lines at the WDW ticket windows.

Aloooooooooooha!

Buy DD the AP -- that way you can enter the parks with a clear conscious instead of worrying whether or not they will question her age and create an embarrassing situation for you at the gate. Even though she's small for her age, it doesn't change the fact that she's three and needs a ticket.

That would be cool....my personal submarine :rotfl: I can picture my kids, "Are we there yet? Can we go faster" "No children, we have to pass this whale first." :rotfl:

We didn't go last year so my passes aren't active yet, I just have 3 vouchers. I think I will go to guest relations, which was my original plan before my panic attack started of getting there and not having a voucher already for DD. In all my ADRs, shows and other event tickets I bought 4, so it was just the AP. Thank you for the advice.

ITA, I think I will pick it up at the park.

We got our APs from the Guest Services located @ Downtown Disney. Don't know what time you will be arriving at WDW, but our flight got in early-evening so we checked into our hotel, just jumped on a bus for DD, and looked in a few of the shops and got an ice cream. There was no wait at all. Plus, I think that location is open later than G.S. at the parks. Have fun!!!
