OK. I am getting past the part about our trip being moved to the end of October. On with the planning!!

We would really like to go to MNSSHP. The reports I read from last year seemed to indicate that folks weren't quite as pleased on the sold out nights as they were during the week. Our potential new dates do not allow the luxury of a mid-week party for us.

Sunday is Oct. 30, Monday is Halloween. UG says crowds of 6 on Sunday, crowds of 4 on Monday. Which night for MNSSHP? Did Sunday sell out last year because it was Halloween, or because it was Sunday? Does Halloween night sell out regardless of what day of the week it falls on?

Please tell me your thoughts on this!! I am hoping to be able to call for tickets no later than the middle of next week, as soon as our dates are set!

So there is an up-charge for Halloween night, and it is pretty certain both nights will sell out? Anyone have any advice? Thanks!

We've been to MNSSHP and MVMCP on sold-out nights. It is still lots of fun with NO wait on the rides. At the sold-out Christmas party we were able to walk straight on to BTMR and then stay on for another ride without getting off! There are no lines for rides most of the time, and the lines that exist are like 10min at the most. They move fast, and everyone's having a good time...it's especially fun to check out the costumes at MNSSHP. We have not had any less fun at the sold-out parties than the non-sold-out ones. Choose whichever works for you the best and have a ball!!

I think both nights will be a sell out so most likely won't matter crowd wise.

I am sure I could over-think this until I am blue in the face and I still won't come up with anything brilliant! :rotfl:

Yesterday I thought I had decided on Sunday, today I think I have decided to do Halloween. But I really won't know anything until tomorrow afternoon when we find out for certain which WEEK we are going. No sense in trying to choose a date for a week we won't be there! I am almost starting to lean towards going to WDW the last week of October so MNSSHP will be finished and we won't have to try to plan around MK being closed later in the trip. We'll see! :)
