Help please!! Location of a hess gas station?

Does anyone know how far (walking distance) a hess gas station is from Bay Lake Towers? Going June 14th and trying to plan it out.

A very, very, very long walk. I'm not even sure if it would be walkable because I don't recall any sidewalks on the road that goes to the CR/BLT.

Unfortunately, there's no Hess gas station within walking distance to BLT. The closest would be the one by Boardwalk, and that's several miles away. The roads in between are multi-lane highways with no sidewalks.

Your best bet would be a cab, probably $10-ish each way.

Or, you could walk to MK, get a bus to the Boardwalk, and walk to the Hess station from there. Still a long trip, with a long walk, in hot and humid June.

I'm assuming the OP is looking for a Hess Express convenience store, and I don't think I saw one at the car care center by MK the last time I was there. Just a gas station. Or have they added one recently?

Instead of the one by BW, try the one across from DTD. Its easier to get there by bus from BLT than the one at BW.

There was a convenience type store at the Hess Express station by MK car care center (West Car Care Drive) last time I was there. I was curious so I checked locations for Hess Express and their website still shows food offerings at that location. That station would be closest to BLT, but you can't walk it, would need a cab. Sometimes I rent a car for a few days in the middle of a vacation and have Alamo/National pick me up in the shuttle they have for on-site car rental. I get my car and stop at that Hess for drinks & snacks. Hope its still really there!

3 Hess stations on property, one by DTD, one by Boardwalk / HS, one by MK Care Care Center.

I bought "refreshments" at the Hess station at DTD last time my husband went with us. It's a short walk to the bus stop!

Walking from one/any of the disney bus stops.

Go to downtown Disney via Disney buses and it is a short walk to the hess station. Take a carryon suitcase and filler up.

Just a word of note... I know a lot of people like to bring their empty rolling suitcases to Hess in order to transport their purchases easier, which is a great idea. However, you can't take your suitcases on the bus so in this case you'd have to take a cab, but only one way

Really? Ugh. I buy Hess cards to fill up when I'm in Florida. Esp since Hess is in WDW, where I return my rental. Very inconvienent to get gas in the US, when you don't live there an don't have a US zip code. So to pay at the pump, I load up a Hess card.

Guess I'll have to see who takes over the WDW hess stations. When I was there in January they were still there, i filled up at the Hess in the CCC.

Thanks for the info. So sad I liked Hess. Even in Ft lauderdale they usually had some of the lower prices. I hope for August trip they're will still be some in WDW & Lauderdale left.

I go to the one across from DTD. I usually take a duffle bag with me and buy water and pop to bring back to the resort.

Just take the bus to DTD go across get what you need then go back across the road and hop on your resort bus.

Did I mention they have great pizza. We usually go at lunch time and get a slice of pizza and eat it on the sidewalk and then go back in to shop. It makes for a very cheap lunch.

Oh and Hess is not closing they have sold the gas stations to another chain.
