Hi there, we are looking to stay here and can get really good rates for a superior room compared to a basic. Has anyone stayed here in a superior room please - what is the difference, and any advice on which area i.e basic, lanai or superior would be grateful for, thanks all:wave:

I've stayed there many times. I don't remember ever seeing a superior room rate. I always ask for a room in the main building. The lanai suites are newer but it can be quite a hike to breakfast, plus they are against the highway.
It's a pretty nice hotel. I have never been disappointed in our room.
The breakfast is the best! They also have an afternoon free happy hour.

From what I can tell by the website, it looks like the superior rooms are the newer rooms. They look the same to me except for the color. The last time we stayed there in Nov. they originally had us in one of those rooms but we asked to be moved to the main buliding. The only difference I noticed was the color of the room.
IMO, it isn't worth paying extra.

I found that the pool area can be noisy, so rooms facing that area, even on an upper floor, can hear that.
