Help Please! Eastern or Western?

Your opinions are wanted please. I've narrowed down travelling on our 2nd Disney cruise to September 03. Now have to decide between Eastern or Western. We did the Eastern in June '01 and absolutely loved it. And I was sure that was what I wanted to do again because I wanted the xtra day at sea, liked the ports, etc. But after "lurking" on these boards again for the past week and reading about the Western itinerary I'm not so sure. Has anyone done both and what did you like best. We'll be travelling next year with a then DD(10.75) and (DS 7). Thanks so much for any input!

I've never done either one but I had to respond anyway. I think you should do the 9/13/03 western itinerary. The reason I think this is because my family will be on this cruise (our first 7 day) and we are traveling with DD & DS the EXACT same age as yours. DD will be 10 turning 11 in 10/03 and DS will be 7 turning 8 in 12/03.

We researched both itineraries and decided that the Western sounded more "fun". Not that the Eastern wouldn't be fun, the western just sounded a little better for the first 7 day cruise.

Anyway, hope you decide on the Western!

Thanks Sonya! That would be neat for the kids to already have a "contact" on the ship. I want to book soon (like now) before the rates start to go up, but I am completely obsessing now about where!
