Help please (Christmas decorations; parade)

Hi All

Was thinking of going around Nov 14-19, and was wondering if the Christmas decorations are up at this time, and if the Christmas parade is running? Also, I used to know a very good website that showed refurbs (even way in advance), and was wondering if anyone could direct me to it?

Can't help with the website, but all the Christmas stuff was up and running at that time last year.

I just pulled out a schedule from last year. The Christmas parade did not start until Thanksgiving.

RideRefurbs.com has Disneyland refurbs. I'm not sure if that's what you're thinking of.

I just read on another site that Fantasmic! will be down from early September to mid December. I am very disappointed about this.

Also down during the time that you mentioned will be: Space Mountain, Matterhorn, Tiki Birds, Alladin's Oasis, Sailing Ship Columbia.

We're going just after you (Nov. 21-25) Supposedly the Matterhorn will be up on Nov.24, so we might get to see it before we leave.

I've never been at Christmas time before. Can't wait to see it all. Only 139 days to go (but who's counting, lol!)

I'm nost surprised at fantsmic. Generally either fireworks or fantasmic are running in the off season. Usually it's fantsmic that is down, but sometimes they run fantasmic instead

I was there last year the weekend before thanksgiving and they had all the christmas stuff up and running-

As for the rehabs- Most rides will be going down for a deepclean for the 50th between Sep and April so the amount of closings isnt surprising- I havent heard what they are doing with the 'horn this year (its gone down for long rehabs the last few years) so I couldnt say if itll be on time-

Last year they ran F! the whole off season instead of the fireworks- Ive heard they wont have any fireworks from Sep-end of Nov so I dont know if they will not have any night time or if F! will show on the weekends-

I know the parade was running then last year because my sis took her family for my nephew's b-day (they went the first week of Nov) and I pretty much researched everything and I'm almost positive the parade was running--I know they were doing Believe in Holiday Magic fireworks and IASW holiday was up.

Well, I am hoping the parade is running, but even if it isn't, as long as the park is decorated, that is enough for me to go during that time.

I'm going in September and it lists on Disneyland's website the Fantasmic, Electrical Parade and fireworks are still going to be going on. I hope this is accurate because I really want to do the Balcony Dessert Bufffet!!!! Marking my calendar when to call!!!
