Help PLEASE, bank/borrow/change...confused!

I need some help! I'm so confused at this point! Here's the deal:
Booked trip at AKV @11mos window for 5/18-5/27, 9 nights - 2BR Std view
Total points 335

Here's how I paid (we've got 160 pts):
2011- 35 points banked
2012 - 160 current points
2013 - 140 borrowed points

So I had to change our trip dates (never changed a trip before, so I didn't really know what I was doing!) - I called CS and this is what happened
New dates 5/11-5/19, 8 nights - 2BR Std view
Total points 295

I specifically asked her how this worked since I had used current and borrowed points. I told her that we were not traveling again until 2014 and wanted to make sure the the 40 points we were getting back would be 2013 points so I can use them in 2014...I wasn't sure I could do that and she said "yes". I told her that if didn't work that way, that I would just book another night for this current trip. She said I would be fine.

So now I'm on my online account and I see 40 points in my 2012 UY and 20 for my 2013 UY......is this right? The breakdown would be 295 points
2011 - 35 banked
2012 - 120 current
2013 - 140 borrowed

There is no way I can bank my 40 2012UY points to use in 2014 right? Is my account correct and she was wrong? Can I borrow points and then put them back? Should I have booked that additional night for this trip? I'm going to lose my 40points if I don't use them in 2013, right?

HELP! I'm getting a headache trying to figure this out!

Borrowing points is an irreversible transaction, unfortunately.

Once you borrow points, they can't be "put back" into their original UY. If the CM told you they could be, she was mistaken. You can bank the 40 '12 points into '13, but if you still won't use them, best add another night so they don't go to waste.

You cannot "unbank" or "unborrow" points. The banked and borrowed points will expire on Feb 28, 2013 if not used so the MS CM did the right thing by using them for this reservation. The 40 2012 points that were freed up can be used for stays from 3/1/2012 - 2/28/2013. If you bank those 2012 points you can use them for stays from 3/1/2013 - 2/28/2014.
