Help.......PLEASE. ?? about stay and scream horror night

Was speaking with a cast member today and they told me I must leave the park and re- enter using my HHN ticket.

We have a park ticket for 7 days (will only use 5 days) and then purchased the HHN ticket on a seperate occasion.

I was under the impression, if I had a ticket to use during the day we could just stay.

Help, I am confused.

This is incorrect, which happens a bit too much due to misinformation among cast members.

At 5 (or shortly before) you can enter the stay and scream area just by having your HHN ticket (you obviously must have a park ticket to be there at the time), this is located on the New York street across from mummy (and a little bit down) where the entrance to Finnegan's is. (I believe there is also one at KidZone, though that doesn't seem to be as popular) Feel free to grab a table or bar stool and Finnegan's and enjoy while you wait, but you may want to get there around 4:30 to make sure you get a table.

At around 6ish they will let you out, the soundstages will be the first open.

When you enter the street, they have blockades, and they will scan your ticket when you enter. You can also chill on the street before they are scanning, they will come around a few minutes before 5. Same goes if you are eating at Finnegan's, they will come table to table. No wristbands needed.
