Good Morning Everyone! We have been to WDW 9 times but we are in the beginning stages of planning our 1st trip out West. :sunny: We are a family of 6 and, unfortunately, the onsite hotels are out of our price range. I think we have narrowed our Good Neighbor Hotel choice down to 2. Here's where you all come in.:) We need a room/suite that can accommodate 6 people and would like a hotel that offers a free continental breakfast and free wifi so these are our choices, Best Western Park Place Inn or the Park Vue Inn. Which one would you choose and why? TIA for any and all advice or experience you would be willing to share!:worship:

The Best Western Park Place Inn isn't a suite in a true sense. The couch is behind a little half wall. It's not a separate room. I don't know if that matters to you or not. I've never stayed at Park Vue so I don't know how their suites are set up. I know that Desert Inn and Suites has suites with 2 separate rooms. They are usually very well priced when you book far in advance.

Thanks lucydog! I have edited my original post to say that we don't care about having a true suite. Just want one room that can accommodate 6 as opposed to having to have 2 separate rooms. :flower1:

You might want to check out Carousel Inn and Suites, we are staying there in August and the two room suite has a nice configuration (~$250/night). No breakfast though from what I remember. Park Vue does not have that many suites available, great location though. We have stayed there several times, food was ok and they open up fairly early.

At BWPPI are you planning on having two smaller kids share the pull out sofa bed? Because I can't imagine two adults sharing it...it's fairly narrow.

We are a family of 5...the youngest is 6'3", so we are all adult size! BWPPI is now our hotel of choice. We've always had nice stays there. One of the reasons we choose it over PVI is because of the rewards program at Best Western hotels.

BWPPI definitely. It has been consistent over the years and you rarely read about anyone with a really bad experience. PVI? Not so much. Some horror stories have been shared on this board and their reputation is much more spotty. Yes some folks have had a great experience there. Others not so much.

We just got back from DLR and stayed at Anaheim Islander Inn and Suites. It's a no frills kind of place, but it was very clean, the staff was friendly, and it's a short walk to the parks each day. Close to the Garden Walk mall where we had dinner one night. They have free Wi-Fi and a continental breakfast in the morning. We were a party of 7, and their suites are two rooms connected by a door that locks. You share a bathroom, but we didn't mind. Both rooms have 2 queen beds. We paid $156 a night.

Thanks for all the insight everyone! We're planning to book this week. Think we're going to have to make a "game time" decision. They all seem to have pros and cons!
