Ok! We are heading back to the world in early November for 10 days of bliss! Need some dining tips that would be best suited for our cast of traveller's below:

Me - 33, major foodie and lover of all things Disney! I love to try new foods:) DH - 37, meat and potatoes guy. Loves breakfast by the gallons too! Doesn't like anything too "touristy". Alexandra - 14 and loves food, disney and is up for ANYTHING! Loves trying new foods:thumbsup2 Jordan - DD6, loves everything Disney. Picky eater, won't try new things. Loves chicken, hot dogs, fries, carrots, and ICE CREAM! Loves her breakfast tho!

Places we've eaten:
Ohana (D) - are definately returning!
Le Cellier (L) - want to go again, there is so much more we want to try!
Tall Tale Inn (D, CS) - loved the build your own burgers
Planet Hollywood (D) - definately returning
TRex (D) - great atmosphere and great kids menu choices
Cinderella's Royal Table (B) - did this with DM and DD6 in 2007 and absolutely was the best Disney Memory I have!!!
Rainforest Cafe - LOVE the chicken island salad. Had one in the mall near where we lived in Chicago.
50's Prime Time - just ok
Liberty Tree Tavern (D) - was still a character meal when we did it and LOVED it

Places we'd like to try:
Jiko (D)
Sci Fi Drive In (L)
Biergarten - (L or D) DD's would not like this, but would love opinions. DH would ADORE this place!!! What to do?
Chefs de France (L)
Crystal Palace (B or L)
Plaza (L or D)
Sanaa (L)
Cape May Cafe (B)
Wherever DD14 and I can get Lobster eggs benedict!
1900 Park Fare (B or D)
Kona Cafe (B) - So we can have TONGA TOAST
Yachtsman (D) - solely for DH:)
Raglan Road (D) - we would all enjoy this

Place we are going to definately do again:
Ohana (B AND D)

So.....help me out! Are there some places I haven't got on here that I should? What do you think about DD's and the choices for them, especially DD6? Any advice is welcomed and appreciated:)

We love love love the Biergarten!!! There wasn't much to chose from for my picky DS (6) ,but enough for him to get by. They did have mini weiners last time and pretzel rolls, I'm sure that would get Jordan through. The entertainment is quite fun also!!! Why not try 1900 PF or CP in place of LTT since the characters are gone. Do Sci Fi this time, more for the experience,(not the food) it's DS favorite place because he gets to eat in a car. We all loved Chefs de France and are looking forward to trying Raglan Road. Have fun with your decisions!:dance3:

I think I'm going to let the girls decide between CP and 1900 PF for one of the character breakfasts! It'll probably come down to the characters for them....as it should. Isn't that what we really go for? :laughing:Thanks for all your input!

I would definitely give Biergarten a try...your older daughter could try some new things and there would definitely be enough other things for the younger. We love Biergarten. We went with a party of 12...half were kids and we all loved it.

We also LOVED Crystal Palace. We did a late lunch and it ran into dinner time so we got prime pickin's from the buffet!! This sounds like somewhere your family would love...plus they have characters!!

I love Raglan Road...but not sure kids would. The atmosphere and food is more adult oriented...JMHO. If you go without them, have the It's Not Bleedin Chowder if you like seafood and the Scallop Forest!!

Definitely skip 50's if it was just okay for you....try Sci Fi...it will be on par with the food but the experience will be FUN!! I didn't care too much for 50's either...just okay again.

I know you can get lobster eggs benedict at GF Cafe...sounds great. Need to try myself!!

Both the Plaza and Chef's have service issues that are often reviewed here...personally I would skip with kids.

Sanaa...wow, now there is an out there choice. I am headed there myself in a month but with kids or a meat and potatoes DH, I am not sure I would go. Check out the menus first and be sure to show them to the fam. I hear the kids menu is even interesting although I haven't looked at it yet.

Jiko is nice. You would all enjoy the food. Definitely for an evening out...not like theme park dining. Maybe after a day at the pool.

Hope this all helps some!!
