Hi everyone!
I have only been to US twice, and by the time I get there in May 2013, 7 years will have passed since my last visit. Also, I have never been to IOA. My bf and I are planning to do a day at each, and just wondering what people would suggest as a good touring strategy, based on the rides/attractions we want to experience.
We plan on arriving at the park for opening/close to opening, taking a long lunch break each day, and remaining at the park until shortly before close. I would prefer to avoid crisscrossing all over the park, but would like to use my time efficiently. If anyone could advise on what are the most popular attractions and what we should try first , suggest an order of attractions, etc would be most appreciated
And of course, please feel free to offer suggestions that are not on our list, or attractions I've listed that you don't think are worth it.
To assist, I'll highlight the rides I've done before (bf has never been, so he's done nothing)
Universal Studios
Disaster! (didn't do this, but did Earthquake back in the day)
E.T. Adventure
Hollywood Rip Ride Rocket
Men In Black: Alien Attack
Revenge of the Mummy
Shrek 4D
The Simpsons Ride
Terminator 2 : 3D
Animal Actors on Location
Bettlejuicess Graveyard Revue
Islands of Adventure
Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey
Dragon Challenge
The Amazing Adventures of SpiderMan
Doctor Dooms FearFall
Dudley Do Rights Ripsaw Falls
The Incredible Hulk Coaster
Jurassic Park River Adventure
Popeye and Blutos Bilge Rat Barges* (this one is a maybe because I've read we will get soaked haha
We would also like to have lunch at the Three Broomsticks. Can anyone advise how busy it is there and what would be the best time to go? I'm thinking either early lunch or early dinner?
Thanks everyone!
