There is such a thing as overkill, and I'm rapidly reaching that limit.. but I do think I will actually need these things, at least a few.. because as we all know - as much as we love our Macs, the storage is virtually nothing!

Ok, here we go!

Has anyone ever used this one?? It seems pricey to me, I have two Maclaren Triumphs and WISH I had a snack try. Snacking makes good temp entertainment for my toddlers - but I'm wondering if this is worth it. I did order the snack cup from One Step Ahead (with the string) to keep it attached.

I also plan on getting the Valco cup holder -from recommendations on this board.. but which one???

or I've seen another one with colors (can't find the link to it )???

and then do I get this too???

Thanks everyone in advance !!

I would get the bottom one if any. I always had issues with the plastic cup holders. Problem at Disney is that every time you go on the bus, the cup holder gets banged around and can get broken easily. The organizer type works a lot better. However you do have take it off the stroller when you fold it up to go on the bus since there is a loop at the bottom that holds it in shape...so it doesn't fold up with the Mac.

I probably would skip most or all of it. We have a quest and no need for any, the drinks either go in the hood folded or in the back pocket (I also have put it in the bottom basket) and the basket to me has enough room for whatever we need, 3 sweatshirts and an umbrella, 2 ponchos. I have had all of our crocs or shoes under there too.

That last one looks easiest to deal with, no breaking, not alot of unattaching to fold up but I am not sure it would be needed.

I just got this cup holder, and we decorated it with stickers, It will work great for our son because its nice and deep, and I think with a straw he won't even have to take the drink out. OUr stroller has a built in cup holder in the back for us. Its called liquid caddy.

You just HAVE to get one of the Mickey Fans to match your stroller, what a great decorating job ;)

I got a liquid caddy for my son (look on amazon...I think I paid $17 with shipping...cheapest on the net that I could find...seller was a bike store). I bought 2 saddle bags for the sides to keep our odds and ends in (cheap ponchos, shammy, rain cover.) We have a Saftey 1st stroller. I found a bungee cord at the $1 store to stretch across the back....attach a few cheap carabiners ($ store or Walmart) to attach the first aid/foot kit and anything else that needs attachin'....a clip on battery operated fan, our stroller organizer has a padded zipper pouch in the middle (both from one step ahead.com), and 2 insulated drink holders for water bottles (all we drink when it's hot!)....I am a "be prepared" within reason mom....I'm not preparing for nuclear holocaust, but if we get stranded in the parks, I'll be able to take care of our basic needs!!!

Edited: We're not going to use the bungee cord...I tried everything out tonight to make sure nothing would interfere with folding it up, and the bungee cord is hooked into the area that ends up folding, so the cord snaps off (and incidentally, flew about 3 feet away!)....we certainly don't want to hurt anyone!!! Good thing I gave it a test run, huh??

I just bought the Buggy Buddy too and used it today on our Mac at the zoo. It was great! Putting drinks in the hood folded or in the hood pocket is completely a bad idea w/ our 2 boys like to pull the hood down and it's their space ship!!!

SPLASH!!!

Squeezing through tight spaces today in the crowds at the zoo makes me think no way would add more width w/ cup holders and side fans! Iv'e seen the fan clipped on the front of the hood though.

The kids don't know what they are missing. The grown ups are the ones who think we NEED these things. My 2yr old could get out when we were at stops and go around back and get his cup himself or he just asked for a drink and I passed it over.

I would just get the Buggy Buddy.

oh dear! I am glad I am leaving in a couple days or I would be mighty tempted by that kiddie tray with built in snack/drink section!

I stand by my valco cup holders. The things are tough and have been put through the ringer (on Disney buses, tossed in and out of car trunks and vans by none to gentle teens, tugged on by people trying to steal them (yup, can you even believe it?, boardwalk at beach!, not my stroller tho, etc. ) They are awesome.

I would not go for any other carrying bags tho except maybe a saddle bag (with built in mesh cup holder for kiddo) that can be folded up with stroller. I hate to "unburden" my stroller each time I fold it up.

And am I just nuts or am I the only one that finds the storage basket on the macs more than big enough?

drinks on hood of stroller? oh my! my 2 kiddos do same exact thing! They pop those shades up over them in all manor of games! I've had stuff go flying to many times!

I just got this one off of ebay. It is great. I love that there is a section for snacks, camera and there is even a mesh zipper section too.

I have also been looking at the Buggy Buddy! First I need to decide for sure what stroller we will take and then see what I will need for it. LOL

If you do go with it and order from this Ebay seller, I can say that they are a great seller! I have bought from them before and they are actually local (like 10 minutes away) to me so great to work with. Have a great trip!

I have two of the valco baby cupholders on my mac and I love love love them I also bought them from someone on ebay who sells them for 9.99 or best offer he also combines shipping I will admit though I have decided that I need a third one for me, my dd and who ever is w/ us in need of one.

The only problem I have w/ the tray type things is they can break if some one doesn't know what they are doing. I had this happen during a trip in 2006 I bought a tray that had two cupholders off of ebay I spent like 25 dollars on it w/ shipping and it was one that one side had to be un done so that we could fold the stroller (I also have a mothercare princess stroller). Well we went out to the car to leave AK and while I was putting dd in her seat FIL folded up the stroller and broke it so that was a waste of money.

I will also admit to having the mickey fan from wdw we just got it in Feb. I like the stroller bags to some degree but I don't like the net ones at one time there was a winnie the pooh one available that wasn't netted but now that I can't find it I want it so I have been thinking of having one made in some princess fabric.

I have a Valco cup holder and love it! We also have a Skip hop diaper bag to use that attaches to the stroller handles and is very compact, we have a fan too but haven't figured out if it is going to work out or not.

We just hang the backpack over the handles of the stroller. It has a mesh pocket on the side where we put the waterbottle. Our kids have always been fine with the waterbottle/sippy on the seat next to them. We don't have a need for entertainment (so much for them to look at) in the stroller but do pack a few small things for them to play with in line. We do snacks in line as well, keeps them busy. I would save those distractions for when you need them not when they are happy viewing the world from the stroller. From past experience, when they are fussy in the stroller it's time to go back for a nap and swim. I just like to travel as light as possible.
Have a great time!

Ok- let me explain... I added the back piece (green) so that his head doesn't flop back when he's asleep (he's a very tall 5 year old). I think I might still get the hand weights to add so it doesn't tip when he jumps out- The additional mesh bag in the back is for the ponchos- we;ll use the underneath basket for the knapsack. Am I missing anything?! ;)
