I have finally decided to enter the world of Digital scrapbooking :yeah:...traditional is just too time consuming anymore. So I am looking at software and have a few questions....

I have already decided that I am not really ready to jump into the learning curve of photoshop...maybe later. So I have narrowed down my software choices to 3...

Creative Memories, My Memories Suite, and Memory Mixer

My #1 requirement is that I will be able to use a variety of kits/layouts that I find online from various places for greater freedom.

I can't seem to find out if I can do that with Creative Memories or My Memories...anyone know the answer if you can use layouts/kits from other sources with this software...and not just what they sell on their sites.

I know you've said that you aren't up for the learning curve of Photoshop, but I really feel that you can use it without having to dig too much in to it. Plus, there is a forum (Elements village) that you can use for any/all questions. I made my first pages barely knowing ANYTHING.

AND you can use MOST ANYTHING. I believe there's only one type of file I haven't been able to use - possibly creative memories?

AND there are LOTS of free things to use.
