Soo, I have been seeing youtube videos about Check in- since its sooo different from the last time we went on Dream ( many years ago). Didn't have it have it as be jpeg...took awhile to convert all BC's (pdf) to jpegs. Disney finally allow me to get a PAT of 1200 group 8- but now my dilemma. I got emailed that my BC's weren't accepted and now its locked (PAT).
Question- should I let it be and keep my PAT time as is and fix everything when I bring all docs to port- or do I have to "fix it" and chance messing up my PAT?
help guys -

You can show the documents at the port when you check-in in person. However before arriving at the port on embarkation I'd want to know why the birth certificates were rejected just in case you need to get new ones. Was the jpeg not clear? You should be able to take a fresh photo (jpeg) and re-upload. Or are they older BCs that don't have complete information? In which case you'll need different documents.

Yes..they are all fairly new.. i hope because jpeg was unclear. My worry is if I tried it all again..would i lose my current PAT

No, once you got a PAT, uploading new documents will not change that. Just go back in and upload new pictures. Better to take a jpeg to start with, the issue might have been the conversion from pdf.

In this case you need to prioritize. What's more important, a slightly earlier PAT or actually being able to GO on the cruise? I think you really need to figure out why the Birth Certificates are not being accepted. Maybe it is just that it's blurry but if there is something else "wrong" like no seal, then you really need to get that sorted out. Agree you should just take a photo of the document instead of trying to convert it from a PDF to a JPEG, can you print it out? Or do you have the original?

I think the open boarding happens around 1 or 1:30. The Noon boarding group one you have will be delayed if you have to go show the birth certificates upon check in anyway.

While I agree with the idea of prioritizing, they won't lose their PAT if they upload new documents. It is pretty common for DCL to reject things (even often the same photo of documents they have approved for previous sailings).

@JecHec, Upload the new documents. Your PAT will be ok.

Concur. I had my dad's passport rejected because I accidentally had a number cut off at the bottom. We didn't lose our PAT.

We had our documents rejected and it was because on DCL app when I checked in the pictures somehow got cropped in the app when they were uploaded. I just reloaded the same images and made sure they weren’t cropped weird and they were approved the next day. It didn’t affect my PAT at all.

I have my photo rejected about 50% of the time even when it’s the exact same photo that got approved on the last cruise. You can upload new documents/photos/edit your onboard account etc without losing your PAT.
