Help! Our Wii stopped working

We got the Wii back and it's all fixed. It only took a couple days too. We sent it out on Saturday and had it back on Tuesday - really fast! It said in the enclosure that they replaced the disc drive - so it wasn't the laser bulb thingy. And now it is warrantied for another year! Works for me. I'm saving the box and the paper work just in case it happens again. My son is overjoyed that now he can play the new game he bought the day it broke.
For those of you who called and they said it was $85 - did you tell them you thought that was too much for the repair? My son did that - he said "I don't want to pay $85" and they said "how about $40?" - worked for us. Good luck to all who are getting theirs repaired.

Okay, glad I read this... for future reference... cause it's a little wierd that they magically change prices.

We did have to send in DS's Wii, but it was the Super Smash Bros Brawl thing, it was the Wii and apparantly a common problem, so it was free to fix.

It's just kinda funny. $85?? No that's too much. How about $40?

Well gosh, free sounds better.

I wish our grocery store did that! Oh no, this loaf of bread is too high... okay, how about half off?... All righty, but only if you deliver it to my house!
