Help on which resort?

This is our first time staying off site. Two adults and two five year olds. Looking for good pools and quickness to get to disney. Here are the many we are looking at.

Marriott's Cypress Harbour
Marriott's Grand Vista resort
Marriotts Harbour Lake
Star island resort
Fantasy world
Mystic Dunes resort
Parkway INTERNATIONAL Resort
Westgate towers

I would always, always stay at Marriott Harbour Lake if I had the opportunity when kids are under age 10. It has the most fantastic kids pools and splash park I have seen anywhere in Orlando. Plus the units are really nice and the location is perfect for Disney, the Seaworld parks, etc. I just hope someday I have grandkids so I get to go there again because it was FUN. Your kids will NOT want to leave the resort. I remember joking to my husband that we shouldn't have wasted all the money on park tickets because just staying at that resort was so much fun for the kids.

I have also stayed at Cypress Harbour, Grande Vista, Mystic Dunes, and Fantasy World and out of those I would pick Cypress Harbour which is an excellent resort in a great location.

I agree completely about Harbour Lake and young kids. We stayed there a week and only made 1 visit to a park and the kids were very, very happy.

Don't be surprised that 2 hours after arriving at Magic Kingdom, your kids will be begging you to go "back to the vacation" at the resort!

Another vote for Marriott Harbour Lake! We stayed there a few years back. Very nice, you 5YOs will love it, and it is a marriott so you know everything will be at a high standard. When they get older, Cypress harbour!!!

none of your list are that close to Disney - now SeaWorld definitely!

How about a private villa with a private pool and spa? Lots of those around the area. Some places have smaller town homes with splash pools and larger community pools.
