Hello there. This is my first time on the DIS boards and I need some help!

We have booked our first ever trip for October. I got the Brits Guide for Christmas and have made loads of notes from that!! Its been great!

I am totally confused with the Princess Breakfasts though. My daughter, who will be 8, has read about Cinderella's Royal Table and the Princess Storybook Breakfast and wants to do both. My partner and son are not so keen!! So I will need to book for just 2, which I thought would be a doddle until Ive read loads of previous questions and it seems to be a nightmare.

We have booked the 5-day Hopper Plus, and will need to plan our days at WDW around the breakfasts in the hope I can book them!

So what I need to know is the exact time I call from the UK to ensure I'm in with a chance when the lines open at 7am Orlando time. (Ive used the PS Calculator and know the days to call).

And also what number exactly do I call (with the dialling code from the UK). I have seen various numbers posted and I really want these two breakfasts!!!

Can anyone help!!!

Lorraine.

Welcome to the boards:Pinkbounc

The phone number you need is;001-407-939-3463

You need to start phoning just before 12noon
if its engaged just keep pressing redial.

I hope you get the ps that you want.

What dates are you going? as you can see its our 1ST WDW trip in october as well,we shall be flying out with Virgin on the 23rd
for two weeks staying at the Holiday Inn on I.D

Thanks for the reply, but I'm still confused with the time to call!!

Cos I read somewhere else that, because our clocks go forward at the end of March, and I need to call 90 days before in July, that its only a four-hour difference and not five!!

I dont want to call just before 12 noon, to be told Im an hour late!!! Does this make sense or am I going mad!!!!!

We're flying out with Virgin on the 10th, and return on the 26th!!

AND WE CANT WAIT!!!!!!!

Lorraine,
US clocks go forward on the first Sunday in April so in July it will be 5 hours time difference again. They also go back the same weekend as ours in October.

If you are at all unsure, then call the day before as a practice run. The CMs wont mind and you will then be confident you will be calling on the right day for the PS time you need.

I have managed to get a PS every time for this and my tips are:

Start calling around 11:56, if you hear the message "Thank you for calling Disney Dining, our office is closed....blahblahblah" hang up and redial, next time hang up as soon as you hear the Thank You!! When you are actually connected there will be a short pause and you will either go straight through to an operator or go on hold. There is much discussion whether, if you are put on hold to stay on hold or redial. The choice is yours...I have done both and been successfull both ways. Ideally, have two people calling...one to redial, one to stay on hold!!

Second, make sure the CM understands what PS you need...write down your "script" and talk clearly and slowly (they can have trouble with our accents!!). Others may advise you to talk fast, but that usually means repeating yourself and wasting time! Try not to be picky about the time...just ask for anytime available. Its easier to make changes later once you have secured the PS!!

Good luck!
Allie
