 This is my first post, after much lurking!
DH and I are heading to Disney in October, I've been to Disney 15+ times, but it's been 5 years since my last trip!

Since the majority of my visits were before the DDP (or at least before it became so popular) I'm new to that. We've always focused more on the parks, not the food. I've only eaten at the sit-down restaurants in the parks and dtd. None of the resort ones.

We're staying at POP and we have 3 full days in the parks and one morning (Sat - Tues) Since we have such a short trip planned, I don't want to spend too much time getting to our ADR's. So things in the parks, or easy to get to resorts are key.

Here are my current plans

Saturday
We'll spend the day in MK (I always like to start there :D) We're celebrating our 5th anniversary on this trip, so I thought we'd do a nicer dinner this night. I'm thinking we'll use 2 credits at one of the signatures - though I'm open to other suggestions.
I can get early (5ish) reservations at California Grill
Or later (7-8ish) reservations at one of the Grand Floridian options.
In general we prefer to eat later - is California Grill worth doing the earlier time? Will we be up to going back to the MK after that early dinner, or will we be in a food coma ;)

Sunday
We'll probably hit AK in the morning and HS in the evening. HS has extra hours till 11 I think. We were considering doing Boma. Would this be easy to get to by going from HS to AKL and back to HS? Or will that take up more of the day than we want? We could just eat at HS - but I don't really love any of the restaurants there.

Monday
Epcot! I can get a later (8:30ish) reservation for Coral Reef. Or we could do Teppan Edo at any time. Epcot is open till 9 that night (world showcase) so I guess with the late dinner we'd just head back to the resort as soon as dinner was done. And we'd miss the evening fireworks/show. Any thoughts on which is better? Any other Epcot restaurants we should consider?

My other concern - Are these restaurants all too similar? I'm worried we'll just eat lots of steak everyday!

Thanks so much for any help or input you may have :)

Gotta have the WHOLE package! I'd go with later at Narcoisee's (sp?)

TS restaurants in DHS are bleeeh and not worth it. If I were in your shoes I'd try Boma or a convenient resort restaurant.

Ooops! Forgot it was your anniversary! Forget Biergarten -you need something more romantic.

Don't forget to tell every CM you see that its your anniversary!! Especially when making the reservations -ask for a romantic table etc. Narcoisee's can get a little loud, but the lighting and the water make it romantic. Went their with DH on the last trip while grandma watched the kids!

I wouldn't eat that early. I would try Narcoosee's.

We don't care for Boma. It is a buffet, and we felt all the food had the same strange cinnamon flavor. We love Sanaa, also at AKL. I would spend the day at AK, go to AKL for dinner, then spend the evening at HS. Easier traveling plan.

We also didn't care too much for Coral Reef. The atmosphere was lovely, the food was mediocre, at best. We've never been to Teppen Edo (yet. We are trying it this year) in Epcot we enjoy Chefs De France, and Marakesh.
