Hey everyone. My fiance and I are going to honeymoon in Disney May 2014. By utilizing the 2013 prices I have been able to estimate how much our honeymoon will cost... I am aware the prices change year to year, but this was just to get a rough idea of the cost of our honeymoon.

I am stuck on air fare though. Can anyone give me an estimate on what to expect for 2 adults flying out Sunday and returning the following Sunday between Ohio and Orlando Florida?

We fly out of Pittsburgh and I have been scoping out southwest and AirTran. The cheapest seats I have seen lately are about $320 round trip per person. We just applied for the southwest chase credit card when they were offering 50,000 points for new accounts. You get the points after spending $2000 on the card over 3 months. Right now I think they are offering 25,000 points for signing up. Since you are over a year out, maybe this is worth looking at for you. You could probably save enough points to fly for free by the time you book your flights. The card does have a yearly fee.

The great thing about living in Ohio is all the airports within a two hour radius of you. We live in Cincinnati, and have access to Dayton, Columbus, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Louisville, and Lexington all within a two hour drive. So there are plenty of options out there. I usually budget about $250 for each of us round trip. You can get them cheaper if you find a sale at the right time as well.

THIS!! Leaving from Houston on United is $1500 for the 3 of us on December 31. For the 3 of us to leave from Austin it is only $1000 on JetBlue. If you keep your options flexible, you may be able to get a great deal.

Good luck with your budget!
