Help On a K-9 Question???

Hello to all.. I have been searching for the answer to the HRH having pets in the room? The agent I booked with said that no dogs are allowed in the rooms. However on other boards I saw that the writers said they had the dogs there. My kids have K-9 allergies and would like the right answer. I haven't been to the HRH website. Thanks in advance.

Yes, dogs are allowed at HRH and are in the guest rooms. I'd definitely tell the hotel about your children's allergies so that they will keep you far away from the "pet floor". I have occasionally seen dogs (maybe a total of 4)around the property. All have been very well behaved and are required to be on leashes.

My cat stayed w/me at HRH in 2003 and at RPR in 2004. I of course was placed in a "pet room" each visit. I couldn't even tell that any other pet had ever been in the room, there was no "dog smell", strange stains or pet hair anywhere. But, if I had pet allergies, I'd definitely tell the hotel that I have to be on a "non-pet" floor.

I called the HRH directly and they did say that there are some "pet friendly" rooms. The operator said that a 45 day advance notice to the hotel should ensure a regular room.
Just as an aside...the Travel Agent had the wrong info.
