We will be at the World form September 18 -25. There are no reservations for 'Ohanna that week. If you have them and find you are not needing them will you please P.M. me. We love this place and would love to go back. There are 3 adults. Thanks :worship::worship::worship:

i just cancelled a 8:20pm at ohana on september 24 not even 20 min ago go snatch it up!

Keep trying. I had the same issue with our earlier in Sept. trip. I checked online each morning and snagged one yesterday! There was another one open this morning (I checked out of curiosity :goodvibes).

I saw your post 5 mins ago and it's gone. Bet it went fast!

Since we're now bringing the kids with us, we had to cancel all our ADRs and start over.. ugh. I'm also looking for Ohana (breakfast & dinner). And 1900 Park Fare (dinner), Crystal palace (breakfast), Chef Mickey (breakfast)... wry grin.

The next 98 days are gonna be fun. I'll be glued morning, afternoon and evening! :surfweb: :rotfl:

On the bright side, when I phoned to cancel our "around the world" segway tour and explained to the CM why - he took my not-yet-cancelled Garden Grill dinner for 2 and changed it for 4!!! Wish I had known CMs could do that. I shouldn't have cancelled my others so quickly.

For DaniB-

I'm for sure saying this with my tail between my legs, for fear of getting yelled at on the board for doubling up, but for the very same reason as you posted, I've got 2 different sets of ADR's for my November trip.

My parents are watching our kids for our adults only WDW trip in November, but.. my mom is disabled and if she is having a bad time when the trip rolls around...she'll have no problem telling us last minute she can't watch the kiddos. So in light of that possible disaster, I've made alternative ADR's - covering my bases with DH's name on ressie and different ph #, for fear of having a rough week with no ADR's, with a last minute change of plans, from a party of 2 to a party of 4.

I'm glad I did it, and will be relieved if that happens. Otherwise, on the day of our trip I'll cancel the alternate ADR's and make some last minute people very happy.

its not that hard to get. I booked a last minute trip, we leave this Friday and I have gotten three ohana resists in the last 3 days. one for 9:45 June 20th, the one for 8:50 on the 19th and finally one for 5pm on the 20th. you just have to check multiple times per day on the Disney website. I also saw 7:10 on the 19th but I was happy with the 5pm ressie so I cancelled the rest. that is with less than a week till the date so I am sure in a few months you will have no problem finding something if you are persistent

No flames from me but if some of the reservations are for the same restaurants why not keep the 4 but cancel the 2? You can always show up at the restaurant with less people. I am in a similar situation with my sister ... not sure if she will be meeting us for a few days during our trip. I just made our ADRs for the total number if she shows up. If she doesn't, we will just explain at the podium. It is a problem to show up with more than what was reserved but I have never heard of a problem showing up with less. Things happen.

It's a great idea and truth be told, I wish I had done that 3 months ago! Ever since we booked our trip, I have worried that we won't get to go kid-less and it happened. I really wish I had made a seperate touring internary & ADRs as a back-up. But I was convinced my husband would just cancel the trip. Hindsight huh?

Trust me, I'm trying! I am literally :surfweb: all day. :rotfl: I'm a SAHM and have no kids during the day. There's a lot more I would rather do, and things that needed to get done, but I feel too stressed not having ADRs. My husband even suggested cancelling if we couldn't get certain ADRs. :scared1: Then he wonders why the house is starting to look... disheveled...

I do feel I'm being pretty flexiable date-wise. For dinner - I have 5 nights I could book a Ohana dinner for, 3 nights for Tony's, 4 nights for Chef Mickey.
For breakfast 3 mornings for Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey or Ohana.

I just need a little luck! Ohh hey, I just saw your trip is in June. Mine is in September during FD. That's probably the difference. Have fun!!

Yes, I may still do that on our Christmas party night, at LTT. But all of the other places are new places we wanted to try for ourselves. On the kid itinerary, I took out a couple new places, added in a couple character meals for our DD's, 8 and 6. ;)

Dani,

My DH threatened to cancel the trip too if we get dumped with the kids, but I think at that point the trip will be too hyped up in our heads to cancel. Besides he thinks Disney is magical - he won't cancel.

No.free dining isn't the difference. We are going september also and already have our ressie 6 months out but last year we didn't book free dining until the end of may when it was released and I still managed to get ohana and le cellier just fine after many days of keeping an eye out. I love free dining and getting the reservations shuffled around is half the fun lol

I left the computer to eat lunch. Only to come back and find someone cancelled a perfect for us Chef Mickey breakfast 12 minutes before I read her post. Gone. (sigh)

I hear walk ups are much easier to get these days too. If all else fails give it a shot when you get there.

I called yesterday and the CM told me no walk ins. Reservation only. Thanks for all the encouragement. I will keep trying:thumbsup2

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I got the ressie today on my third try. Not the time I had in mind but it lets us go to the parks afterward for a while. That's a good thing I usually over eat at 'Ohana. Doin' the happy dance:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:
