HELP! Not sure if we should keep our split stay plans!

Currently have WL/Dolphin set up, 4 nights at WL followed by 6 at Dolphin. Planned this due to crowds/park access for the Holidays. Now after seeing the weather report (C-O-L-D!) DH thinks maybe we should stay with the WL the whole 10 days, especially for Christmas Eve/Day. We depart Fl the 28...it seems silly to head to the Dolphin for 2 nights. I need to decide tonight in order to not lose room deposit on the Dolphin. I still think we should stay with the origional plan, or at the least, 5/5....the location of the Dolphin with crowds is more appealing to me than the theme of either resort. We have 2 kids, who think we are staying only at the Dolphin, we are surprising them at the WL. $$$ difference is $20 less per night at WL woods view.

Help!!!!!!!!! Will we regret leaving the WL right before the actual holiday?

I would either stay with your original plan or do 5/5. I actually prefer the Dolphin over WL. If you are planning on visiting MGM, Boardwalk, or Epcot AT ALL, definitely spend some time at the Dolphin. You can exclusively do MK and maybe AK during your WL days, and then do Epcot/MGM during your Dolphin days. You may be able to totally avoid taking a bus!

I don't really see what difference the weather makes. You will be taking the boat to MK from WL as well as to Epcot/MGM from the Dolphin. I actually think the Epcot area boats might be a little warmer, at least they have a heater. I'm not sure about the WL boat. Plus I doubt that it would be so cold that you can't walk to Epcot. Even if it's in the 50's during the day, that won't be so bad.

The Dolphin also has some neat holiday activities planned during that week. If you like the Christmasy feeling of WL, have your gift exchange/Christmas meal there before you check out.

I would make sure you can extend first at the WL last i checked they were full...
