Help- no room ready message

Leaving out door for airport, did online check in and I have not received a txt that the room is ready. I was looking forward to just going rigt to room with magic band. Flight gets in at 11:30 pm. Any chance my room is ready txt will still come?
 
We received a text and email when our flight landed saying our room was not ready. This was about noon. They may wait until your flight actually lands?
 

Are you riding the Magical Express? I always get a text shortly after we check in to ride the bus.

And, did you get magic bands delivered? The one time my bands were waiting at check-in, I never got a text.
 
I did online check-in and signed up for the text notification but never received one, and our room was ready when we checked-in at the lobby (I was disappointed). We did arrive around 1030am, but another party on the same Magical Express bus got the text that their room was ready. Hopefully you'll get the text when you land...
 
In my experience it seems like the text usually gets sent about 1-2 hours before the resort arrival time indicated during online check-in.
 
We have AP's but received new bands in the mail. I also received an email saying my bands would be waiting for us at check in- which is confusing too! We are going to be using the magical express

Did you customize both your annual passholder Magic Bands and your resort Magic Bands? If not, they're probably holding your resort Magic Bands at the front desk because they hadn't been customized.
 
If you booked using an AP discount, you may not receive a text if the Front Desk has to confirm your discount.

Last month, GF never sent us a room-ready text because CM friend had to show her CM ID to confirm the pricing of our discounted room.
 
I've used online check in 3 times - I only got the room ready text once. The other 2 times I had to stop at the online checkin podium in the lobby.
 
We have used online checkin 3 times so far. 1st time got an email but not the text that our room was ready. Second time worked great. Third time somehow online checkin didn't work and we had to check in at the front desk.
 
Taxing to airport gate now and no txt . We got "new" custom bands for this trip and apparently there is another grey set waiting at lobby.
 
Last trip, September, we did on line again and noted arrival time as 9:30 am.....we drove down and got a text around that time room was not ready....so we went to the grocery store to take care of our supplies and driving back to WDW, text comes, room ready and room number.... So easy, skip check in counter, right to room, Magic Bands lets us in.....
 
Well, I have to show an ID at the desk when I get there, so I'm just going to assume I won't be able to check in in advance...
 
We had a split stay in September. Arrived before noon at Animal Kingdom Lodge,
had done online check in but room wasn't ready upon arrival. No biggie, we were prepared with a park back pack and headed out after verifying front desk had cell number to send text. Text never came so we stopped at front desk at 10PM. We were told out room was ready at 1PM!

Moving day arrived and since our son had joined us and he had a car, we transferred ourselves and luggage to SSR at 8AM. Stopped at front desk to verify we were in the system and phone number was correctly documented, despite having done it online and made a point to ask if room ready text would be sent this time. Front desk assured us text would be sent. In spite of checking phone every 5 minutes once 4:30 PM rolled around, the hoped for text never arrived.

Front desk said maybe our provider blocks the text. We have Verizon. Any other Verizon users having issues with this?
 
I've never got a room ready text. One time we were early to AKL and sat around in the lobby for 2 hours (it was pouring rain outside, so we didn't go to the pool like planned). I was told by the desk we would get a text, but we never did. I finally went up and asked about our room as it was past 4pm, and they informed me that it had been ready for 45 minutes (and we were sitting RIGHT there). :headache:
