I hope someone can help! This is our first winter in this house-we have baseboard heaters. They have been working fine until Sunday when the thermostat was flashing OLoad (I'm assuming it means overload). The heat turned off. We turned the breaker switch in the basement off and on, and it started to work again, then turned off and was flashing. We've been doing this every hour or so since Sunday. We are not handy at all, so before I call someone in, I thought I would ask to see if there is some simple solution.

Thanks!

Is this electric baseboard heat? If it is, and it's warning you of an overload and you keep flipping those breakers on and off, you're taking a chance on your house burning to the ground!!

You need a professional - pronto!!
