Hi! we are interested in renting points for a 2br villa Dec. 7-14.We are unsure of where we'd like to stay. Our daughter has health issues-epilepsy. Looking for someplace where the bus stops and food court aren't too far of a walk. Will be renting a stroller at the parks. Any help or advice will be much appreciated. e-mail-forr2grls@yahoo.com
Thanks,
Paula

Only VWL and BCV actually have anything that resembles a food court. SSR has a self service restaurant, but it doesn't have the same choices as the moderate food courts. No food court at OKW or BWV.

December is a long way away.....Tuesday puts you at he 11 month window for the last day. You are looking for Dec 7 to Dec 14th - the 14th being check out day? 2 Bedroom at the BWV standard view would be 222 points....I may have the points available :confused3 but I'll know better either tommorrow or Tuesday......

Dear Paula:

It is not too early to book! You have chosen one of the best times for a DVCer to go to Disney, Low Crowds and Low Point Costs! Therefore, these rent out very quickly. Also VWL is the smallest resort, and very lovely at that time. Decorated for the holidays! If you are interested, I would suggest that you book now.

My family just came back from Dec 11-20 at VWL, and absolutely loved it.

Suggestions:

Handicapped Accessable Dedicated 2BRs are available at VWL, (If you need it). Main Difference, roll in showers for wheel chair access, and grab bars for toilet transfers. You may not need these features, but I wanted to let you know about them.

You get the DME for free (free roundtrip transfers from the airport to VWL) and could purchase the DVC-Disney Dining plan if interested).

Do not miss Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! You get late access to the Magic Kingdom, with a special fireworks show, and a great special parade, with more characters than I had ever seen before. Also, almost no lines, as the park is closed to non-MVMCP guests at 7:00 PM. It also 'snows' on mainstreet and you get free cookies and hot chocholate throughout the park. This was the first time I got to ride the rocketships atop the People Mover, there was no wait!

Also, if you are a Christian, the Candlelight processionsal at EPCOT is amazing.
(Actually, as a Jew I found it lovely as well, my DW is Catholic!)

I hope this helps, and that you can get your reservation!

i will clarify-checking out dec 14th

This is a good time to book. According to the DVC-Planner the last day of your stay of Dec 13 hit the 11 month window today. So therefore you would need to figure out what resort you would like to stay in and find some one renting points to that resort. According to a previous post VWL seems to have some options you may need. We own at the BWV...bought in recently and are unable to utilize our points. According to the dates your requested you would be looking a 222 pts - 2br standard view at the BWV or 270 pts for a prefferred view. Let me know if I can help......Thank You
