I just booked a mother daughter(11 yrs old) trip for Dec 29-Jan 7th.

I do not know what to do for New Years Eve. I hear the parks are VERY crowded and may even turn some people away. Does anyone know if this is the case with US parks ??

I haven't been to Universal in 14 years and don't remember much at all. HELP !!

What should I do? I am staying at POP and planned on renting a car the last couple days of the trip ... but then I can't get to US ... I would rent a car the whole time if I knew I could or should plan US on NYE ....

I need your help. DD will just LOVE this place and I want to know what I should plan.

For you veterans of US .. what should I do ?

I didn't know there are 2 parks ??? I am confused ?

HELP !!!

Thanks
PG

Wow, i can explain the 2 park situation at least. Universal Orlando consists of 1) Universal Studios and 2) Islands of Adventure. These are two parks run by Universal. If you'd like to take a tour of each go to their website at

http://themeparks.universalstudios.com/orlando/website/index.html?__source=UO.REDIR

At the top of the page you'll see links to each of the parks, this would be the best way to get to know the parks.

I have never been on NYE so I can't help with that or with the transportation question. One thing to note though is that for the last 3 or 4 days of your trip you shouldn't have to worry about crowds at all, the park really clears out as everyone's holiday vacations end.
