HELP! New OKW owners - will I have to make 4 ressies?

My brain is fried after trying to figure this out, so here goes.....I know I'm going to botch it up and confuse you, so please forgive ahead of time!

We want to go in Sept-Oct. Dilema is part of trip my in laws will join us, then leave; then my BIL and his family will join us, then leave; then its just the four of us. In order for us to do the DDP and for our immediate family to stay as long as we would like, we have to do some moving around. This is what I figured out so far....can someone please critique me and see if there's an easier way??? (the entire trip will be at OKW, which is our home resort)

1. We ck-in Sept 25-28th in a studio.

2. New reservation to include inlaws - ck in 9-28 to 10-1 in 2 bedroom.

3. In laws leave, BIL and his crew (4) come down - ck in 10-1 to 10-6 in 2 bedroom.

4. Because I'm not ready to go home yet, ck in 10-6 to 10-8 in studio.

That maxes out all our points except 2. HOWEVER, we are borrowing majority of points from 2009......does that mean I can't book most of this until April 2008 - which is my use month?

I know I'm crazy, but can anyone see any different way to do it? We want to do the DDP, which means everyone in the room with us must do it, I understand that. If we didn't do the DDP, it would be easier for the time period in the 2 bedroom.

And I'm leaving Thursday morning for a 13 day trip to BCV.....and here I am stressing about the NEXT trip!!! What is wrong with me???? I should be packing!

You will have to make either 3 or 4 reservations. If you want to have the DDP then you will need 4 separate ressies, otherwise you will have to pay for the DDP for all the people staying (even though staggered) for the entire length of stay for the 2 bedroom.

You can book your home resort now for next September or October. You do not wait for use year to book. You simply borrow the 2009 points now when you book.

Now just have to be prepared to move possibly 4 times! But we wanted to invite everyone and so I'm just trying to accommodate everyone's schedule (very hard since two are school teachers and this is not "break").

So guess its on to call MS in the AM....then get to packing for my Thursday AM departure!!!

I would make 3 reservations and get the DDE rather than the DDP if you're thinking that given you have 2 upcoming trips large trips. You can change out the other people in the 2 BR along the way without a new reservation. If your question is related to the newly published restrictions in any way of 20 in a year, it could actually be more than 4 depending on what points you have and use for this trip and how they decide to count it. Though if you don't rent at all it won't matter to you regardless.
