OK I've used and loved the "old" online ADR system - I knew it had changed a bit so I've been playing with it today - in preparation for making ADRs tomorrow. Problem is I can't find where to enter our resort reservation number so I can do 180+ ADRs. Every now and then I'll get an 'old' screen and can enter it but with the new ones I can't.

Most important reservation is CRT for DD's birthday and our anniversary so I need to figure this out today.

Help?

Thanks!

I was trying to look last night myself, and could only find the old screen for things like CRT. I had IPO make all of my ADRs, but it had me very nervous - thus me being up way too late. In the end, we got everything we were looking for. However, I noticed that even on the 28th & 29th of november most of the hard to get things were showing not available on line, yet IPO was able to get every one of the ADRs I was looking for. I would just call Disney directly, and have them make them for me, they must have access to a different system. I even managed to swing Le Celliers on the weekend after Thanksgiving.

On the dining reservation screen, once you select the date beyond range I get this message to enter room resssie number
"We noticed that you requested a day more than 180 days in advance. Only resort guests have the benefit of reserving dining reservations that far in advance. If you have a resort reservation, please confirm it now."

I did this, and it still would only allow me to look at reservation dates through the end of November. I was just hoping it was an issue last night. I'm not stressing now that mine are made, I only hope the OP gets her issues resolved quickly.

I can't get CRT right now either, though is says on the calendar I can book on Dec 8. I am going to let me TA deal with that one.

If you log in with your Disney.com username and password, and attempt to make a dining reservation outside of the 180 day mark, it will prompt you for a confirmation number and arrival date.

Cinderella's Royal Table also has the old format to enter confirmation number, arrival date, resort, and last name.

I called and a CM told me that CRT will only be available with using your original 180 days + 10, not the 190 days it is allowing right now for other restaurants.

Thank you everyone!

My beginning ADR date is tomorrow - our first day is 11/29 so I haven't lost any time yet. I mainly wanted to figure it all out today so I could hit the ground running tomorrow - so to speak and hopefully avoid any glitches....

If nothing else I'll call but I really do love booking via the online system!

While playing around I did manage to get to the confirm screen so that might be what works tomorrow in terms of entering our trip reservation number - fingers crossed!

Thanks!!

Taylor you rock! I had read about the glitch that was letting people do some booking prior to the 180 days but I thought it was fixed. Because you mentioned it here I went and played around a bit more and was able to make our Akershus and 1900 PF reservations early! YES YES YES

Technically tomorrow is our day to make ADRs so yes I did sneak in a day early but whew it's so nice to have those made now I just need to do CRT tomorrow morning (it's a short trip).

I did check CRT for 11/28 (the latest date it would let me peek - we arrive 11/29 and want an ADR for 12/1) - anyway it did have lunch availability which is what we want!

IF anyone is still reading do you all know what time lunch starts at CRT? We don't want breakfast - would like an early lunch ADR if possible.

Thanks again!

Right now, there is a possible bug with the v2 system. It is allowing people to book all items in the v2 system at the 190 day mark, rather than 180+10. (See the big long thread about this).

CRT, HDDR, SoA are not part of the v2 system yet, as such, when booking they will revert to the old v1 system. (Most likely due to the fact that they are pre-paid meals and Disney didn't think it was prudent to use them in the beta test).

The (most likely) proper method will be:

  1. Enter the Dining Reservations portion of the website
  2. Log in to your Disney website account
  3. When picking a date, pick the date you're interested in dining (even if it's more than 180 days out!)
  4. After the search, click into the box on the right that says something about "We noticed that your date is more than 180 days out"
  5. Enter in the resort confirmation and your arrival date
  6. Click Continue (or OK, or Submit, or whatever it says)
  7. Good to go from here.
(Shortened for brevity, something I'm not known for!)

Right now, there's an issue with Step 5 above. It should be a known issue, as I and at least one other have brought it to their attention, but the validation on the resort confirmation is not functional. What this means is that it simply checks to see if you entered "something" in the box, and that the check-in date is at most 180 days away, and then it opens up the dates.

Note that this is likely not intended behavior and may be fixed at any moment. I'd also keep an eye on any pre-180 day reservations made in this manner. Just in case.
