I need help from those of you have been to wdw in the beginning of sept. Our trip was unfortunatley postponed from aug to sep 3-10!!!! :sad2: :sad2:

Is the hurricane season up and going around that time? Will their be rain all day? Is it busy? Should I just wait till next year? :confused3 :confused3

Sorry for all the questions..I just know you guys have all the answers!!
Thank YOU!!!! :wave2:

The weather is about the same either date. Hurricane season for both months, same for daily rain and high heat and humidity.

I've been in June, Sept, Oct, and November, and the most rain I ever had was in June - September was very hot and dry.

Hurricane season lasts into October....

We were there last September between Hurricanes and it only rained once for anything longer than 10 minutes, and it was probably off/on for a few hours. It was warm though!

Sept. is a great month to go...yeah, there's a slight chance of hurricanes, but same goes for June, July and August, too!! We were in Disney for Hurricane Floyd and they did a great job of keeping all their guests posted on what was going on.

You'll have less crowds in September..which means no lines! And if it rains, it's usually just a passing shower that you'll welcome anyway.

Buy a poncho and go have fun!!

No hurricane, but heavy, heavy rains the entire week.

We were there 9/5 - 9/10 2001 and it was pretty hot and humid. Only rained a little each day and then was hot and humid. NO LINES!! :cool1: I would DEFINITELY go again in September and I WOULD NOT skip this year if I had the chance to go!

We always go in september!
We didnt go last year, as other things came up... but in 2003, we were there from the end of aug till around the 10th or so of sept...
weather was great!
nice and hot! :sunny:
while there we had one day with a rainshower. It was very late in the evening, shortly before illuminations!
But it only lasted about 20 mins tops!
Then it stopped and all was well!

As for hurricanes, the actual season goes from like June thru Oct or Nov. So anyone going in the summer/fall is taking a risk. I wouldnt let that stop me!
