Greetings...
my wife and i have just returned from orlando, we are interested in joining the vacation club...

1. can we join in the UK?
2.can anyone offer any useful tips and useful information. i am currently researching if it is worth doing.

you can join here but you need to have the cash with a loan from here or cash etc. you can't use disney finance from here

Go and have a read of the DVC boards from here they are full of really useful information.

You can join from the UK but you can not take Disneys finance (but it's really not good anyway as last time I looked the APR was over 10%.)

You have two options for buying into DVC either direct or resale. Resale does have some restrictions but IMO the savings far out weigh the lost options.

Remember though you are at the end of the day buying a timeshare.

We are members and have been since 2009 however I always advice everyone to throughly research so they know what they are buying which is basically accommodation until your contract expiry date. Perks do and come and go and can and have been taken away without notice.
