We have a family trip coming up at the end of January. I'm want to give this dinner as a holiday gift to my in-laws. I checked and their is availablity in the main dining room.

My problem.....not sure how to prepay it? If I can't, that is fine I will get them a Disney Gift card for payment.....but I don't know how much.

Any help?

Prix fixe menu $125 per guest, not including alcoholic beverages. Wine pairings are an extra $60 per guest. Tax and gratuity not included.

Thanks for the reply......$500 gift card sounds like it would work.

The other thing I was considering is sending them on the all day Back Stage Magic Tour (about the same price)

Is this dinner really worth the $500?
Or do you think the tour is money better spent?

Boy....I wish I could get Dine with an Imagineer.....they would love that and it would be a lot cheaper!

Victoria & Alberts is one of the best restaurants in the country and for the price, it's a great deal compared to many that also make that "best" list.

I think dinner is much better than the backstage tour. I haven't dined with an Imagineer but after dining at V&A about a dozen times, I can't imagine anything at WDW being better than that.

if you give them the gift card, they can decide between the tour or the dinner. (The only problem with having them decide is that there is a $20 per person penalty for not showing up for a V&A reservation, and if they want to cancel it they'd have to do it no later than a full day before the reservation - for example, a reservation on Sunday must be cancelled no later than Friday.)

You can call the restaurant ahead of time and tell them you wish to pre-pay. They'll ask for a credit / debit card number and ask if you wish to leave a message for the guests, ie. Happy Anniversary.

I did this as a srprise for my DS and BIL at the California Grill last month. Rather than bringing a bill at the end of dinner, they brought a card with the message and told them the bill was all set.

I originally call Disney Dining and the CM told me you could not pre-pay. So call the restaurant directly.
