Help needed with nails!

I had an email from the nail technician booked through Beaute Speciale to say that she had left the Florida area and wouldn't be able to do our appointment in December. Beaute Speciale can't help with another technician.

I have tried Valencia Salon on Wheels but they haven't come back to me.

Anyone know of any other mobile nail technicians in the Orlando area that would come to Disney? I know that the Beach Club and Swan and Dolphin do nails but I really need someone to come to the room as the appointmnet was for the same time as my dress steaming.

Any ideas? Help!

Beaute Speciale were going to do my nails on the wedding morning, along with hair and make up - does this means this won't be happening now??!

They didn't explain to me there was a separate nail technician involved, but I presume it must be the same.

I have pre-paid in advance as well while the dollar rate was better way back when. Do you think I should email them to check?

I might have to think about getting them done here now before I go, otherwise I would look at going to Perriwigs at the Beach Club, but I didn't really want to waste time out of another day having them done. Unless I can go there before Beaute Speciale arrive??

If I do get them done at home, I need to know what I'm asking for!! I need extensions coz my nails are pretty short, and I want nice strong ones as I can be a bit of a tomboy and they need to last me through luggage carrying!

I think I'll email Beaute Speciale at the weekend when I get chance if I've not heard anything, just to check what's going on.

I've not got the leaflet with me but i'll check tonight for definate but basically they last about 6 weeks before you need to get an infill and that is only because your nail has grown. It's nail polish that doesn't come off until you want it to.

I don't know how far in advance you are leaving, but I had mine done at home before I left, and here it is 3 days later. It lasted a long time, especially if you put a clear top coat over it every day or two:

Are you renting a car? If you are, you could have your nails done offsite before your wedding. I had acrylic nails and a luxury pedicure in a salon on S.International Drive a couple of days before my VR in April. It was great and cheaper than I would have paid in WDW, I think the total was about $80 (including tip). If you do get acrylics, they'll need an infill about 2-3 weeks later, they won't last 6 weeks without attention. You could just have them removed at a salon when you get home though.

I had a response back from Valencia. They do acrylic nails onsite which are $75 with a French manicure but charge $50 location fee which they didn't mention when I asked about beauty treatments at the beginning of the year.

I'm thinking the location fee makes it up to a minimum that they might charge, but I wanted 2 sets of nails done which would have bought it to $150.

I've gone back to them to ask if they can do anything about the location fee so will let you know what they come back with.

They haven't mentioned anything about not doing the make-up session on the morning of our wedding so I think it is just the nail technician they don't have now. They said that they used Judy as she did really nice nails but she didn't work for them directly.

I heard back from Cynthia at Valencia Salon. They charge the $50 location fee as they are about an hour away from Disney.

Meryl, it might be worth getting in touch with them if you def want a mobile service.
