We love V&A's and have been three times and have reservations for September. I have been debating whether we should spend the $$$ for a lovely evening. I was able (by calling every day) to get a reservation at California Grill (for another evening). So . . . now . . . what to do? We have never been to California Grill and have 5:50 p.m. reservations which is great for us. I looked at the menu and was undecided what to do. We usually split an appetizer, split a salad, entree and dessert. Everyone says California Grill is a must do. I know we'll back to Disney in the next year or so and can always go to V&A then. Comments, please . . . do you think having dinner at California Grill is really really good?

If you have never done CG - then do it. Why not both?

If you haven't done CG.. then i say go for it!

On the other hand, even though CG is a signature location, it is still a totally different level and experience than V&A's. If you can afford V&A's, then I am not sure I would want to skip it... this is truly the type of dining that is a bit harder to find!!

I loved CG when dh & I went a few years back. Food exceptionally good.
I never have been to V&A although I hear it is remarkable. Since you have already gone to V&A why not try something new.

You will be pleasantly surprised

I would never never never trade V&A for Cali Grill. These two just don't even equate to me

For me, I would want to experience both...they might not be the same thing, or even the same realm, but it's an experience and it might surprise you....
