Help Needed SYR, ALB, BDL, even STEWART

Ok Airline pros...my friend Sue just had her April flight cancelled(I think she was on TransMar out of SYR). She is a teacher(2A,2C) and must fly April 14th(Good Friday) or 15th Saturday(in the early am) and return in the evening 22nd Sat or 23rd Sun. She is able to fly out of SYC, but we live in ALB. She will also consider BDL, or Stewart or any other close airport. I know she has missed some fantastic fares...I am now on the SWA watch to help her...but if anyone hears of anything please post it here...Thanks so much.

HAs anyone ever used ALLEGAINT out of Stewart...is it reliable?

I live near SWF and have watched several airlines come and go. My friend works there. No telling if Allegiant will be around in April. SouthEast (the last one) had to start paying cash for their fuel, then about a week later they ceased operations with no warning (except to those who realized that the cash for fuel meant they weren't paying their bills). I always fly SWA from ALB, but as I'm sure you know, they have not opened their schedule beyond 3/31 yet. Song sometimes is reasonable from BDL and Jetblue flies from 'cuse. That's a tough time to find any bargains! Keep checking at SWA and maybe you'll find something reasonable from ALB or BDL. Good luck!

Thanks...but if April is anything like the MArch release, I don't think she will get anything under 1300 for 4.... I appericate the info on SWF. I keep checking. The really sad thing is I know she booked in July when I did.
