help needed re Swan/Dolphin

Some friends of ours are planning their first trip to WDW next year and one of them is a registered nurse. Does that mean they can take advantage of a discounted rate at the Swan or Dolphin? I wasn't sure if this was only for US registered nurses?

I know UK teachers get the discount so I would have thought they would. A phone call wouldnt hurt to find out.
