Help needed re holding points

Wonder if anyone can help. We booked a cruise using dvc points for April. Unfortunately my mother was taken poorly and we decided it was best to cancel the cruise. Our points went into holding, we are now thinking about how we can use the points. We have over 500 in holding.
What we really want to do is stay at Saratoga so we can really relax and de stress. It does feel like home and that's what we need. I know this is not possible as the points are, anyone know of anything we could do to try and get Saratoga?

Those points are now Reservation Points and can't be used for a DVC Resort Reservation nor for a World Passport Exchange. They are now restricted to either a Disney Collection Reservation or a Concierge Collection Reservation.

DVC has just added most Deluxe Resorts to the Disney Collection and the revised point chart (as of 2/18/2014) can be found using the link below:

You'll need to use those points before the end of your UY. You could try booking something at DLParis or perhaps the GF or YC instead of a DVC resort.

But if you canceled more than 30 days out (if your trip is April, it should be more than 30 days out), they aren't holding points. But they are Reservation Points, so you have to use them for another cruise or Adv by Disney or WDW or DL resorts that are not DVC. And you'll have to pay another $95 fee to book something new.

Thanks for the replies. Ours is a Feb use year. So we have time to use them. Didn't know about the new disney additions. Will look into those.
