We’ve been to Disney many times but not during the reservation phase! We just booked offsite for the last week of October/first week of November and bought our tickets. So now do we wait until hours are released to make the reservations? I looked at touring plans for our days but don’t want to base my decision on that until I see the hours. Am I making too much of this? Or is it pretty simple and I’m missing the point haha. Thanks!

Make them now, especially for DHS. You can always change them as long as there is availability. And probably for the MK, too. As long as your tickets appear in your MDE, you can make reservations.

You might be overthinking this. Or at least trying to do too much fine-detail planning.

Disney park hour patterns haven’t seemed to change since I first visited in 1998.

Check out historical park hours and get a pretty good idea for any year.

I did an internet search for “wdw park hours november 2020”. It took me to wdwmagic .com. It has times for 2020 and 2019, by the months. You can get a ballpark idea of what was normal and modified for Covid. This year (any year) should be somewhere in between.

What is your underlying concern?

... and no, don’t wait to make reservations.

I have a trip planned for the first week of November. I made my park reservations as soon as I could. Park hours do change some this year as dates get closer, but they have only been getting longer not shorter once they are released. I know they haven't even bee released by Disney yet, and the predicted times for those dates on Touring Plans are based on total pre-covid schedules. I don't think that is what we will see with 9am Epcot open and 6pm MK closes because of parties. I am guessing the park hours will be similar to what they are right now if not a little longer. I recommend getting your park passes now. Happy (crazy) planning!
