Help Needed for Booking FP+ for 2 Families

My family of 3 is going to WDW in Oct with my aunt & uncle. My family is staying @ SSR but my aunt & uncle will be offsite. This will be my first time utilizing FP+. If I understand correctly, on-site guests can book FP+ 60 days in advance but off-site guests can only do it 30 days out. If this is correct, does anyone have any advice on the best way for me to book FP+ for both families? Should I do my family's 60 days out then try to change them @ the 30 day mark when I could also book my aunt & uncle? Also, what do you do when booking a FP+ for a ride that not everyone in your party will want to ride? TIA!

If you want to ride/see attractions all together, I would book yours at 60 days and then try to copy them to the 30 day folks at the 30 day mark.
