Hello,

I need for anyone who has been to both US and IOA to respond if possible.

My family and I have been to both parks, but now we have a new little one with us. My daughter will be 10 months when we go next week. What can I expect? My two older daughters are 11 & 10, so this trip is mostly for them. Will I be able to take my 10 month old to any attraction or will I be stuck outside pushing her in a stroller all day? I have read the Universal website and they mention nothing about infants. I read on another post that your child had to be able to walk to go on anything since they can not sit on your lap???

Remind me what we can all do together?

Any and all help would be great!!!

Thank you!

I am in the same situation. We're going in mid February with my DD5, DS4, and baby who will also be 10 months. Can you please post when you return & let me know if he could go on anything?? I'm scared all I'm going to be doing is walking around or sitting on a bench. Thanks!!

Well, I think, other than shows and the Carosuessel you may be extremely limited as to what a 10 month old rides. Maybe 1 Fish, 2 Fish? But I do think for many of the rides with no height restrictions, they have to be able to walk. I'm not certain! We took our DD at 1.5 and she was able to do a lot, in my opinion, for that age. But she was walking at the time.

One thing I heard some people say children need to wear shoes on anything they do ride. Some insurance regulation I heard others mention.

Good luck, enjoy what you can and use baby swap if you can!

Wow, it sounds like I will not be doing much! My daughter is not walking yet, she can only stand while holding on to things.

I will post what we did when we return.

I thought the only restriction for no height restriction rides is that they can sit up on their own. They can sit next to you and you hold on to them tight just like most Disney rides. So I would take them on most rides in Seus Landing-train, carousel, one fish two fish and maybe even Cat in the Hat.
Stationary benches both in Jimmy Neutron and Shrek. At 11months, my little guy just enjoyed seeing all the colorful theming and we brought him to most of the shows.

He was not a skiddish baby at all so we were able to do almost alot the rides in US. We did Jaws, Earthquake, Twister, Shrek, Jimmy Neutron on a stationary bench. Everything else we just baby swapped.
