I'm thinking about making an ADR at a restaurant at DTD for our arrival evening. We'll be on the DDxDP, and I am looking at Fulton's, Portobello, and Wolfgang Puck Cafe. I can't tell if all three are on the Dining Plan...there's conflicting information on the WDW website. :confused3

I definitely want a restaurant that takes the DDP. Do you know which of those three are on the plan? Which of those restaurants do you recommend?

Thanks!

I havent eaten at any of these so cant give you any opinions but I hear Portobellos is good.:goodvibes

Looks like it is not on the dining plan though. You might consider taking the boat over to SSR and eating at the turf club it is outstanding!!!

Fulton's is not on the DP.

Fulton's and Portobello's are not on the dining plan. Wolfgang Puck's is, but not the upstairs grand dining room. Raglan Road, Wolfgang Puck's and Captain Jack's are the only sit down's at Downtown Disney.
You could also take the boat over to SSR Turf Club or OKW Olivia's and I think Port Orleans...Boatwrights.

Thanks! I didn't think Fulton's or Portobello were on the dining plan, but when I checked the box to only search for restaurants that accept the DDP, both of them came up.:rolleyes1

I'll look at the Wolfgang Puck menu and see how it looks. I had originally thought about eating somewhere by Epcot and then walking over for Illuminations, but the first night would be our only opportunity to get over to DTD since we're only going to be there 4 nights.

Wolfgang Puck Cafe (first floor only) is on the DxDDP and DDP plans.

Portobello and Fulton's accept only the Platinum and Premium Plans.

This is because they accept the dining component of the Premium and Platinum package plans. They do not accept the regular or deluxe Disney Dining Plans.

I've eaten at Wolfgang Puck and Captain Jack's. I liked Captain Jack's (but that was when they had lobster tails), but LOVED Wolfgang Puck. I had the steak and it was cooked to perfection. My friend had a chicken dish she loved as well. However, make reservations soon!

Thanks everybody! I went ahead and made an ADR at Wolfgang Puck's. I think it will be fun to go over to DTD...we haven't been in about 15 years. It will also save me from purchasing an extra day of park tickets just to be able to walk over to Epcot to see IllumiNations.:rolleyes1

I'm looking forward to Wolfgang Puck's. We used to have an Express close to our home in Houston, but it closed quite a while ago. WPC fits one of my vacation dining rules...nothing we can get at home.

Btw, you can hang out at the Boardwalk resort one night and see Illuminations (a lot of it ) from there. Lots of good dinner spots over there. I enjoy many of them. One of the favorites is Captain's Grille at the Yacht Club. (1 credit and even has a chef's choice option that includes an appetizer with it).

And one of our favorites including the kids is Flying Fish!

We'll probably hang out at the Boardwalk the following night...we have an ADR at Yachtsman. Flying Fish is on our food agenda for our third night!:thumbsup2
