Help needed!!!! CHOC walk attendees.

Anybody going to the CHOC walk available to grab our wrist bands for us? We thought we'd be able to do it on Saturday, but apparently they stop handing them out on Friday and we don't leave for DLR until Saturday....ugh. Mailing window has passed and now we are out of luck it would appear.

Is it too late to transfer your registration to a team? Many teams pick up wristbands and shirts and pass them out on Sunday. You can try MousePlanet, I know they do it that way.

The deadline to register for Team MP to pick up your wristband is tomorrow (10/6). If I remember correctly, the OP is registered with the AP team. Check the CHOC website to confirm, but I think I saw something that said there will be a CHOC desk on the morning of to deal with forgotten wristbands. Maybe they could help you, too?

The email reminder on Wednesday said no wristbands will be distributed on Sunday. You can try contacting them directly to plead your case and see if there are any non-publicized exceptions. Maybe also try contacting DL to see if someone organizing the AP team can help.

Agree with SMD about calling the Walk office. The email from last Wed. states that they will help with lost or forgotten wristbands, not ones that haven't yet been picked up. Since you are coming from out-of-state, see what they can do for you.

We are not walking but will be there at the Resort on Friday. We could certainly pick them up for.you if it would help. We are staying on site and could deliver them to your hotel for your arrival. My only concern is if they would release them to a non-participant.

Perhaps the OP could call the office to authorize you to pick them up?? Since the wristbands are good for buying discounted park tickets, I'm sure that CHOC is careful about who picks them up. Either way, the OP should call tomorrow to get the official answer about the wristbands.

Wife spent 2 hours on the phone dealing with them and no luck. There's no contact information for the AP team captain, and no way for them to get us our wrist bands period. Guess we don't get to do this despite paying. Just lovely.

We transferred to the mouseplanet team and I was able to contact the team captain and they'll be picking up for us tomorrow!! Well be able to pick up on Sunday before the event. Whew what a challenge on this super busy day.
